Vau-Ligneau has been performing exceptionally well in recent years and as a result is one of the most recent promotions to premier cru status. It is a refined Chablis with a subtle touch of oak. Gentle citrus, toast on the nose, followed by taught minerality, more textural citrus flavours.

CONDRIEU “LES CASSINES” PAUL JABOULET AINE 2020 BIN 35 France / Northern Rhone / Condrieu / 13.0% A charming Condrieu with aromas of dried fruit, almond and hazelnut leading to a rounded, creamy palate with vine peach flavours carrying through to a long finish. 2020 was a fantastic vintage with a long harvest period, allowing the vineyard to carefully select grapes at their optimum level. A great lobster pairer.

OLIVIER LEFLAIVE MONTAGNY 1ER CRU 2022 BIN 78 France / Burgundy / Montagny / 13.0%
Lightly honeyed on the nose with stone fruits and white grapefruit on the palate. Using an average age of 50-year-old vines the wine is powerful and concentrated and careful use of old oak has left a lovely subtle touch on the finish.

BENANTI ETNA BIANCO SUPERIORE CONTRADA RINAZZO 2022 BIN 28 Italy / Sicily / Etna / 12.0% Benanti helped put Etna wines on the map and this one is a stunner. Grown at 2600 ft above sea level on Europe’s most active Volcano, Flint and smoke burst onto the palate before unfurling to reveal tart grapefruit and green apple notes. An almost nutty salinity combines with herb notes that linger long after the wine is gone. SCHLOSS JOHANNISBERG GG TROCKEN RIESLING 2022 BIN 46 Germany / Schloss Johannisberg / 12.5% GG riesling are fast becoming the darlings of the wine world. This silver seal expression from one of Germany’s greatest vineyards is certainly one of the finest rieslings on the market. Mellow apricot, pear, delicate floral notes and just a hint of smoky minerality.
